How to transfer credit card points to Hawaiian Airlines
Last updated October 30, 2026 · By Kyle Burrows
HawaiianMiles no longer exists. On October 1, 2025 it merged into Atmos Rewards, the program Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines now share. HawaiianMiles balances converted 1:1 into Atmos points. You book Hawaiian flights with points the same way you book Alaska flights, so this page is short. For the full steps, see How to Transfer Points to Alaska Atmos Rewards.
What changed
- Your HawaiianMiles are now Atmos Rewards points. Log in at alaskaair.com or in the Alaska Hawaiian app to see them.
- One booking system. Since April 2026 the two airlines share one passenger system. Hawaiian flights are booked with points on alaskaair.com and show as "Operated by Alaska as Hawaiian Airlines".
- One app, the Alaska Hawaiian app.
- Huaka'i by Hawaiian benefits still apply.
Which bank points transfer to Hawaiian Airlines
| Bank points | Ratio | How long it takes |
|---|---|---|
| Bilt Points | 1:1 to Atmos Rewards | Usually instant. Bilt says allow up to 48 hours. |
Bilt is the only major bank that transfers to Atmos Rewards. In the app it's listed as Atmos Rewards (Alaska Airlines + Hawaiian Airlines). American Express stopped transferring to Hawaiian on June 30, 2025. Chase, Capital One, Citi, Wells Fargo and Rove don't transfer to Atmos Rewards.
Banks sometimes run transfer bonuses to Atmos Rewards. Check the transfer screen on the day you move points.
How to transfer Bilt points
In the Bilt app, go to Rewards, then Travel rewards, and tap Transfer. Choose Atmos Rewards (Alaska Airlines + Hawaiian Airlines) and link your Atmos Rewards number. Transfers go in 1,000-point blocks, and Blue status members have a 2,000-point minimum. Make sure the name matches your Atmos Rewards account and ID, and find the flight before you transfer, because transfers can't be undone.
How to book Hawaiian flights on alaskaair.com
- Sign in to Atmos Rewards at alaskaair.com or in the Alaska Hawaiian app.
- In the flight search, choose Use points.
- Enter your airports, dates and travelers, and search. Hawaiian flights appear alongside Alaska flights.
- Check that each flight shows Hawaiian Airlines (operated by Alaska as Hawaiian Airlines) if that's the flight you want, and check the cabin.
- Enter each traveler's name, date of birth and gender exactly as on their ID or passport.
- Pay the taxes and fees by card, and save the confirmation code.
Changes, cancellations and fees
Atmos Rewards rules now apply to Hawaiian flights. The Alaska Atmos guide covers changes, cancellations and the partner-award fee.
Do the points expire?
Atmos Rewards points don't expire. An account with no activity for over two years can be locked for security, and you get access back by contacting Atmos Rewards and verifying your details.
Mistakes I see most
- Looking for HawaiianMiles in a bank's partner list. Choose Atmos Rewards instead.
- Searching for Hawaiian award flights anywhere other than alaskaair.com or the Alaska Hawaiian app.
- Expecting Amex to transfer. That ended in June 2025.
