Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Kyle Burrows, doing business as Point Bound ("Point Bound," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and handles personal information in connection with the website at https://point-bound.com (the "Site") and our award travel research services (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.

2. Information You Provide

Depending on the service you request, you may voluntarily provide personal information when submitting an inquiry, requesting services, or communicating with us. This information may include:

• — Name
• — Contact information, such as an email address or telephone number
• — Home or preferred airports
• — Destinations, travel dates, flexibility, and number of travelers
• — Travel and cabin preferences
• — Airline and transferable rewards programs
• — Approximate points or miles balances
• — Information voluntarily included in notes or other communications

You control what information you share. Providing more relevant detail generally allows us to deliver more useful award-travel research and itinerary recommendations.

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain technical information may be collected automatically by our hosting infrastructure or your browser, including:

• — IP address
• — Browser type and device information
• — Referring pages and exit pages
• — Pages visited and time spent on the Site
• — Standard web server log data

We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site (see Section 5, Website Analytics). Google Analytics does not run on our private trip-proposal pages or our administration pages.

The Site may also use basic browser cookies to support standard website functionality. See Section 8 (Cookies) for more information.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• — Respond to your inquiries and evaluate your travel research request
• — Perform award travel research and prepare itinerary recommendations
• — Communicate with you about your service request and its status
• — Process payments and maintain records
• — Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot the Site
• — Prevent fraud, misuse, or unauthorized access
• — Comply with applicable legal obligations

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with third-party service providers to operate the Site and deliver our Services. These providers may receive or process your information only as needed to perform their functions and are governed by their own privacy policies.

Inquiry Forms

We use Tally.so to collect inquiries and service requests. When you submit a form on our Site, your responses are received and stored by Tally.so. Tally.so's privacy policy is available at tally.so/privacy.

Website Hosting

The Site is hosted by a third-party cloud hosting provider. That provider may process standard server log data (including IP addresses) in the ordinary course of operating the infrastructure on which the Site runs.

Website Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to measure how visitors use the Site, such as pages viewed, time on a page, links clicked, approximate location (city or region), and device and browser type. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_<ID>) that help count unique visitors and sessions; by default they last up to two years. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We use this information in aggregate to improve the Site. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally, and we do not send your name, email address, or trip details to Google Analytics. Google Analytics does not run on our private trip-proposal pages or our administration pages. You can learn how Google uses this information at "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites), and you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Point Bound loads Google Analytics only for visitors whose browser time zone is in the Americas (including Hawaii). It is not loaded for other visitors, including visitors in Europe and the United Kingdom. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, Point Bound treats it as a request to opt out and does not load Google Analytics during your visit.

Affiliate Networks

Point Bound doesn't currently use paid links. In the future, some card links may be paid links; if so, they'll be labeled "Paid link" (see our Advertiser Disclosure). If you click a paid link, you'll be routed through an affiliate network to the card issuer's site. The network and the card issuer may set their own cookies or use similar technologies on their sites to record that the visit came from Point Bound and whether an application was approved, so that Point Bound can be paid a commission. Point Bound will not pass your name, email address, or trip details through these links, and will not receive your card application information. The network's and issuer's practices are governed by their own privacy policies.

6. When Information May Be Shared

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:

• — Service providers. With vendors and providers needed to operate the Site or deliver the Services (as described in Section 5).
• — Affiliate networks. If you click a paid link, the affiliate network and card issuer receive information about that click (as described in Section 5, Affiliate Networks). We do not share your name, contact details, or trip request with them.
• — At your direction. When you specifically ask us to share information on your behalf.
• — Legal requirements. When required by law, court order, or to respond to valid legal process, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Point Bound, our customers, or others.
• — Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7. We Do Not Sell Your Information

Point Bound does not sell your personal information to third parties. Earning a commission if you're approved for a card through a paid link does not involve Point Bound selling or providing your personal information to the card issuer or affiliate network.

8. Cookies

The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

• — Essential: to support basic Site functions, such as remembering session state.
• — Analytics: Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga, _ga_<ID>) that measure Site usage in aggregate (see Section 5, Website Analytics).
• — Affiliate tracking: if you click a paid link, the affiliate network and card issuer may set cookies on their own sites to credit the referral (see Section 5, Affiliate Networks).

We do not use cookies on the Site to show you ads.

Your choices: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, including blocking third-party cookies, which limits affiliate tracking. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Some features of the Site may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable legal obligations. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

10. Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We cannot warrant the absolute security of your information.

11. Your Rights and Choices

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law. Note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business or recordkeeping purposes.

12. Children's Privacy

Point Bound's Services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. Adult customers may provide limited information about minor travelers (such as names and ages) when planning family travel. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

13. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including airline, credit card issuer, and loyalty program websites. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit. Point Bound doesn't currently use paid links. In the future, some card links may be paid links; if so, they'll be labeled "Paid link." See our Advertiser Disclosure.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
